A Child Needs You to Read a Story and Be a Friend

Plymouth Christian Youth Center needs caring adult volunteers to read individually to kindergarten children one hour per week, October through May. This personal connection over an extended time makes a PCYC Rocking Reader volunteer an important person in each child’s life. It is also fun! PCYC Rocking Readers read to the children in one of the various Minneapolis schools we serve. Typically, a volunteer reads 15 minutes each to four children in a one-hour period.
