Strings
& Stories
Actor
Bill Blush acted out a musical story with accompaniment from
violinist Linda Rosenthal and help from two neighborhood children
who attended their performance of Strings
& Stories held at the Capri Theater on October 5.
Strings & Stories is an imaginative, fast-paced,
interactive blend of music and theater that appeals to audiences of
all ages. The program
was sponsored by PCYC and the Piatigorsky Foundation.

Linda Rosenthal
Linda Rosenthal lives in Juneau
,
Alaska
where she performs, teaches and directs the annual festival, Juneau
Jazz & Classics. Linda
also gives concerts all over the world. She has performed in
China
,
India
,
Japan
, Europe and throughout the
US
and
Canada
. Linda has recorded five solo CDs and has commissioned and
premiered more than a dozen works for solo violin, violin and piano,
violin and narrator and, most recently, violin and jazz big band.
She plays on a violin made in 1772 in
Turin
,
Italy
by J. B. Guadagnini.
Bill Blush
Bill is an actor from
Los Angeles
who has been involved in all aspects of theater including acting,
writing and directing. As a performer he has played a variety of
roles, including…..the kitchen sink. A love for comedy has
prompted Bill to perform in and direct several improvisational
troupes and more recently a venture into the arena of stand-up
comedy. He plans on pursuing a career in theater education, and
hopes to one day discover the ultimate breakfast burrito.
